Gates

Gates for your garden can create an inviting entry into any yard, courtyard, or outdoor living space. Commercial gated areas are also used as pedestrian enclosures for restaurants and shops. These 3' and 4' galvanized steel gates are custom made, painted with a baked on powder coating finish. High quality self closing latches are then attached. Each garden gate is attached to steel 2x2' posts, which ensures a sturdy stable opening. Many of our clients like to add other elements to their fencing and gates such as brick or stone columns in which the custom iron gates will mount to. Fences

Old Mill Iron creates all fencing by hand rather than by automated tools. This unique process allows us to accommodate any style, size, or color. Our custom design team can create any design, allowing us to work hand in hand with all our clients. All of our fencing is made from the strongest galvanized steel, which is a much better alternative than aluminum because it is much lighter in weight and can corrode. Steel construction allows for longer panels, without sag under weight or stress. Our welding process is a bit unusual in the industry. Our welding techniques ensure the strongest bonds, all finials and collars are welded all the way around each joint and end. All our fencing is painted with a chemically bonded powder coating finish.

Fencing Details
Most of our fencing panels are approximately 8 ft. wide x 5 1/2 ft. high with pickets 6 in. on center. The panels are made from a square tubing frame that is center punched, for a through picket construction. All joints are welded completely around each joint. Finials can be included in any size or design onto the pickets. Fence posts are approximately 2 1/2 in. square x 7 ft. 10 in. for most fencing, and include a either a decorative finial post top of your choice.

Why Not Use Aluminum Fencing?
Aluminum fencing has become more and more popular for enclosures due to its light weight. However, steel is still the best alternative. When you combine a chemically bonded powder coated finish, with a hot dip galvanized steel material, it will outlast aluminum because it is stronger and can support the weight without sagging.

Decorative Ornamental signs, real estate signs, Church signs, Banner Posts, etc. can be made to allow commercial clients to display their advertisements. All are powder coated and can be installed as well.

Store Signs

Basic Metal signs are made ready for you to put your logo on and go. These can be easily embellished with a scroll design to make yours stand out from others.

Trellises

Iron trellises are our most popular products and provide the ideal starting point for your outdoor living area. Custom trellises can be built to match the size of any wall. This is very effective when you have a blank wall which you would like to embellish. We can tailor make a trellis that, when mounted, will stand about 2' out from the wall on brackets. This allows for circulation of air in-between the wall and the trellis, which is highly effective on homes that have brick walls which can trap the heat. We also can create any designs, scrolls, or lettering that you might want allowing you a custom look for your piece of art.

Wrought Iron Trellis products provide support for climbing, vines, flowers, and plants. This allows your eye to move upwards creating lovely eye level displays. Because plant displays on trellises are often viewed from one side only, trellises provide maximum square area of plant display at minimal cost. We also can offer window boxes, planters and folding screens for your garden.

Custom Iron Bridges

We are pleased to announce our newest product, Custom Iron Bridges. These bridges are generally 6ft long and span about 3-4ft in width. The curved handrail and delicate iron scrolls blend nicely with the wooden plank flooring on the bridge. These bridges are especially nice over a stream bed or pond, and are powder coated to ensure a long lasting finish. Orders can be taken for these custom built bridges, with a delivery time of about 6-8 weeks.

Benches and Swings

Iron benches and Swings are both beautiful and functional additions to a garden. They are heavy duty and will last for many years. Custom built benches and garden swings add that special touch to any outdoor living area. We offer several different styles of iron benches and can custom make swings to help give you that look that will complete your landscape. We offer garden benches for ponds, benches with trellis, tree benches, commercial benches and more. Each bench is made out of the same material that our fencing is made from in order to assure our clients the strongest, longest lasting piece of outdoor furniture.
